In the premiere episode, /DRIVE on NBC Sports: Monaco, hosts Chris Harris, Matt Farah and this friggin' guy, Mike Spinelli, embark on an epic adventure, sprinting across Europe to the Principality of Monaco in three, Formula 1-inspired supercars from F1 constructors Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz AMG and McLaren, to discover the glitz, glamour and racing history surrounding the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix.

Could this be Top Gear, but without all the comedy and tom foolery that so many have hinted they'd like Top Gear to go back to ?

Excellent news.

hopefully they will make at least two seasons of the show so that people get the opportunity to complain on the internet throughout the second season that its just a formula and the jokes are old and predictable.

jokes isn't really drives style.

Its usually just straight up car talk. Which is what some people want from Top Gear.

I believe they're looking at ppv/subscription for online content, assuming you can't get NBC. Whether this is as well as free/shorter YouTube videos I don't know.

I'm not happy about this at all. The reason I love Drive is because it's on youtube and they have the freedom to do what they want.

Their videos are also a nice length, so I fear the show will become a lot of filler.

Woosh. I'm aware of drive duck.

I actually don't mind spinelli. I would have actually liked that Leo guy who does their Motorsport reporting to have been involved in this.

Its about time someone put Harris on the television IMHO. Long overdue

Yusss. Love /Drive, be interesting to see what this is like!

And I agree about Spinelli, he just looks so awkward on camera. Hopefully he loosens up a bit.

This is great, i spend a lot of time on the drive channel :)

Just saw on facebook that the first episode of Hot rod garage is going up in a few hours with Finnegan and Freiburger. That should be good i hope :)
