Today seeing as my sister and brother in law were over for the weekend we decided to take a 10 minute car trip to the nearby Woodland Waters for a morning walk. After having a walk around and a drink we decided to head home. We were just driving along one of the internal gravel roads when we came across 3 kids aged about 8-10. One lad decides not to move out the way, never the less my dad moves out the way for him. The next thing I hear is my mum saying "Stop, that little bleeder has just put his V's up at us". Cue my dad reversing at speed to catch up with them again. I get out the car, closely followed by my brother in law and my dad. When we catch up with them my dad says

"What do you think you were doing".
"Nothing..... just waving".
"That's not a very nice way to wave."
"What's your name?"
"Liam"
"Liam who?"
"Liam Green, from Peterborough" he replies in a scared voice.
"right" says my dad and we walk off.

Hopefully that put the frighteners up him (It would have me at his age if 3 6ft men came walking towards me) and hopefully he didn't enjoy the rest of the day. Just as long as we've made him think before he does something like that again.

Well aren't you just big and scary.

There has to be a better way to tell children right from wrong.

Thats what the parents are suppose to be for. Not much parenting going on.

Whoa, thats like, crime of the century. You should have beaten them up, if the 318 could have caught them after they ran obviously :p

Parents defend their children first and foremost. "My child would never do such a thing, who are you to tell them off!" etc. etc.

It's not the worst thing anyone could have done, but what's next? This kid needed to be brought down a peg or two.

Good on you! That 'V' sign could have harmed or maimed COUNTLESS other victims if you and your 'heavies' hadn't have stepped in and sorted those mafia-esque villains out!

Good for you!

I knew posting this would provoke this sort of response. I suppose you would have just let this little scrot insult you then?

Jeez...

aye, in a crappy little local village they recently built (a piece of crap generic small) skatepark which has an alright mini to skate.
It's full of kids like this, one being 9 years old, always smoking, spitting, sweaing and another who when i pulled up took about 10 mins to try and slyly look through my car windows before telling his mate theres a phone in there at which point i thought about about pile driving him on the bonet.

Yes I would. Did he murder my mother? Did he steal my prized Audi? Did he rape my daughter? NO! He put two fingers up to you! He is a CHILD! You and your dad are ADULTS! If you can't see that what you did was pathetic then I pity you and the next poor sod who gives you the finger!
