Anyone else used this plugin for editing wordpress templates in dreamweaver, want to give it a shot but would be nice to know how good it is to use before I shell out any money...cheers :D

Waste of money to be honest. Why would you fork out for Dreamweaver – let alone this – when you can achieve much better results for free by coding it manually?

Maybe because the OP can't/doesn't want to code it manually?.

It's like someone posting in the Motors forum - "Hi, I've got a 2005 BMW M5 and I wondered if someone can recommend me a good garage to service it at in London?"

Then getting the reply "Why on earth would you want to pay a garage to service it when you can do it for free yourself?". :p

I disagree. Creating a theme manually isn't that difficult to learn, doesn't involve too much more effort and yet carries significant advantages. Servicing a car isn't quite the same ;)

Basically I can't code, can't get my head around it and have used wysiwyg editors for web design for almost 8 years now. Some people can code without much effort, I simply can't do it, it's as hard as learning to speak another language as far as i'm concerned.

Are you just being arrogant in saying to code it manually? Or just naive?
Not everyone can code, nor does everyone have the time or inclination to learn how to do so.

A plug-in would make things easier and easier doesn't always mean worse.

I regard HTML and CSS as one of those things which is fairly easy and quick to learn and indeed should be learned if you're making a website. In my experience a lot of people assume the only feasible way of making a website is to use a WYSIWYG program and this was the impression I got from the OP.

I didn't consider the PHP aspect of creating a WP theme though, so perhaps using some automation plugin would be more appropriate.

Granted mate that some people can learn html and css with ease, i'm not one of those people...however I have been able to make and earn money from websites for over 7 years by using a wysiwyg editor. I only have a copy of dreamweaver as I got it for free from a friend who no longer needed it and had more money than sense, I would never dream of paying the price they ask for it.
