Well i decided i would like to play Them Hospital as i hadnt played it in ages! it's one of those games i have never completed! Tried playing it on win7 x64 but it does seem to crash an awful lot! added to that the patch wont install :(

So i am currently downloading XP Mode from MS's site and virtual PC just to play the game!

Anyone ever complete it?

Also does anyone know if there's anything like this out these days? or is the sims the nearest you get?:(
 
I managed to complete it back in the day (on an old P3 800Mhz with nVidia TNT2 gfx :p)

I agree that it is fantastic fun and didn't realise about the remake, will have to give it a look.

The only other way I got it to work (and a few other DOS games) was to download a program called DOSbox. It took a bit of configuring but worked surprisingly well :)
 
I have dosbox but theme hospital was also released for windows so works fine in XP. Just updated the game now with the latest patch. think the patch was like 1 mb or something! didnt realise about the remake will take a look once i've completed the original if that'll ever happen.

At least due to it being an old game playing it on virtual PC is fine :)

It doesn't have any sort of protection on the game so it can be found on torrent sites without any cracking etc needed.
