Well bit the bullet and just booked my theory test for tomorrow at 8am as the next available date was in two weeks :(. Been doing some multiple choice question on mock tests and it seems quite easy, are the questions in the real test on the same level and are mostly common sense? Also just took my first full hazard perception test and got 73/75 beating my dad who got 71 :D
Is there any questions I should look out for tho?

IF I pass tomorrow I will try and get my mod 1 done on Monday/Tuesday, practicing with cones in a car park over the weekend. Feeling pretty confident about this test.

However the mod 2 is what I am worrying about, I may book a lesson or two with the company I did my CBT with to freshen me up and make sure that my road positioning is good ect...

Providing I pass everything I will be joining you all on the bigger bikes 8-) Looking at getting a FZ6, SV 650, Bandit :)

I feel quite confident with my handling of the bike at slow speeds, Its the swerve as my current bike (Honda Shadow) Is low and heavy so I have to really throw it to do a sharp turn =P. When I was doing my CBT the instructer said I didn't need to turn as sharp as I was, mainly because I've have a few off road bikes and quads. Hopfully my riding is good as the past 10 months riding in the good weather and the very bad I've always been an alert rider not afrade to use the horn when people pull out on me or cut me off.

Booked my Mod one for monday, pretty excited! Will maybe book my mod two later for wednesday and try to get a lesson oe two on tuesday if I pass my Mod one ofcourse :)

Questions weren't really that bad, if your common sence is good you will pass no problem ;)

Well today I checked over the bike. Topped up oil, cleaned the breaks, some air in the tires and a little rub down. Looking to be very cold tomorrow so I'll have to watch for ice when im heading up to glasgow.

Didn't get a chance to put some cones down and do the circut but I've been reading and I pretty much know what I have to do :D Any other tips/things I should look out for?

Was 4 minutes late for my MOD1 due to my satnav taking me to the wrong side of goven, then I got stopped by every traffic light! :( Guy says I was lucky =P Went straight out and did it and passed! :D Only one fault (Not doing Lifesave when pulling away from emergency stop). Yey only 1 more test to go and im done! Going to try and book it now :)

Thanks guys

Well I can either do my MOD2 tomorrow or wednesday, should I book a lession with my local school on tuesday and do the test on wednesday or just go for my test?

Got a good lesson today, guy told me what routes I could be going on my MOD2 then we went out for about and hour and a half down to kilmarnock. Every thing was okay except from once where I went in the right hand lane on a roundabout where I was going straight on but my procedure was good. When we got back he then asked me possible questions about pillions and the bike which I could be asked then explaned them all.

He said he would be very suprised if I don't pass tomorrow and not to get too worried.

Failed my MOD2, words can not describe how gutted I am really :( NSL road onto another and it was a junction. The road I was turning onto had a blind summit bridge on the right and I was turning left, stopped looked both ways saw it was clear then did my lifesavre as I was taking off and when I looked at the bridge a car was flying but I was already half way ot on the road, the car breaked heavly and I accelerated away as fast as I could to stop the guy hitting me :( . The examiner was not happy at all but he still made me finish the test and then told me to come back In a few weeks after some lessons :(

After 10 months on riding I have never cut someone off or pulled out on somone but today was the day it had to happen eh!?

I don't know the roads up there either which makes it harder and I can't get lessons up there its B*******E!
