I was looking to get a second 970, in order to SLI them.

After some research, I realized the amount of variants is huge!

Most are £250-300.

So hard to choose!

I'll go through and add the base and boost speeds, as well as current cost. Should help me decide.

IF you look at what is instock here, then sort by price, the Gigabyte 970 Windforce is a good price/performance card at £259.

The reported boost speeds wont be entirely accurate either, many of these cards will boost themselves past what is in the spec due to the way GPUboost works based on temperatures etc.

Didnt notice that before, there are some odd ones, they even make one with an AIO.

I have the asus mini one, its probably the worst 970, so loud especially if overclocked

I've thought before that the 780 / 970 will probably become like the new 8800

Got myself a Gigabyte 970 Windforce, it boosts to 1354Mhz out of the box, runs 1500/1900 24/7.

Its also quiet. great card.
