I installed my reverb G2 and essentially it worked ok aside from it seeming to fight with my Oculus software with elite dangerous.
I installed Windows MR steamVR software and played a few games.ok.
I then rebooted my pc ... And it crashed on the windows logo. I HAVE had this issue before with booting with my hotas plugged in but not for years.
On booting again it went through the fixing windows error and said the last software I installed caused an error and it was uninstalled.
At this point windows booted but my headset no longer worked and when I unplugged into start again my headset didn't auto install again.
I unplugged it all and started from scratch and it didn't auto detect and install the headset like it did the 1st time.
I checked windows update and there was a bunch of updates needed, installed those and then the headset came to life again (without needing to reinstall)
BUT the controllers were no longer paired (they were paired out of the box initially). I manually paired them and now seems ok
But it's a bit odd! Has anyone else had this issue?
My pc is an i7 5829k on gogabyte gaming x99 mobo and 1080ti
Thanka
