Not offering or asking for medical advice as they have all seen a doc, however first it was my little sister. Coming out both ends, very unwell for awhile then it jumped to my mums boyfriend who was taken in ill from work. My dad had it bad for two days but now he has a chest infection. My mum is currently the latest one, puking up had a troubled stomach all day.

Unbelievable Bug, anyone else got it?

I started to feel very unwell late last night, like a swimming sensation in my stomach with cramps. Couldn't last 2mins playing BFBC2 then it hit me like a brick. Non stop vomiting throughout the entire night and finally the projectile diarrhoea. At times it would flow out like a waterfall one way while i was puking up filling the sink at the same time. It got so bad that as you said i just wanted to die, i ended up collapsing on the bathroom floor and couldn't move.

When i wasn't puking and crapping, i was cramped up in pain while shivering and running a fever. I phoned up mum to see how she was getting on when i had about 10mins of free time and i heard her throwing up as soon as the phone was picked up, this morning my brother was taken in sick aswell.This all pretty much started not long after my sister decided to crap and puke all over the bathroom and clothes. The worst virus i've ever come across for many years, and another strange thing i was thirsty all night. Whatever i drank apart from not staying down id still be incredibly thirsty.

Less a month ago i was puking my guts up with a severe migrain and sickness and to be honest i would swap this for that any day. I'm using the computer now but i feel very weak and my stomach hasn't shut up, i can barely walk without feeling i want to collapse so i cancelled my work class. I've never had a bug stop me from leaving the bathroom :(

oops, well as long as you keep your hands clean and away from the mouth you should be ok.
 
Sucky, all i've had today is two rice krispie snacks and a warm horlicks, keep shivering and fell asleep in bed for an hr. Going to try and have dinner tonight, but will be pushing it though i need to eat. Lost enough weight as it is!

Felt queezy and a dodgy stomach last night with severe heartburn, took some gaviscon and i slept from 1am till 11.30am :eek:. Damn did it knock my body out, feel much better today but they are right with this norovirus it takes days before your body is back to normal
 
Just remembered there was another virus that i had when i was a kiddy that was just as bad as this. Lung Infection, i remember not being able to breath and because of the phlem it used to block my nose and my throat at the same time, i stopped breathing and it wasn't until i puked that i could breath again. But it would only be so long before i stopped breathing again.

Two weeks off school and spent a few days in hospital
 
If you only have a headache and a sore throat i wouldn't worry about the norovirus unless it's your stomach that plays up, that's how mine started and many others that had the norovirus. Sure everyone is different but usually it's the stomach that acts up first :(. Headache usually comes mid stages of the norovirus

Shouldn't give medical advice because of the rules but if it is the norovirus you will know very quickly, if you get nothing at all in atleast a day then it isn't

My younger sister missed the toilet, the bathroom floor was covered, her clothes where covered and puke filled the bath!. Parents had to clean it up with a mop, never seen anything like it so i know what you mean :p

Part of my bowel was removed and I had to wear a stoma pouch for the following year. Pooing into a bag attatching to your side. Not fun I can tell you, though you learn to live with it.

It's been what 3-4days since the norovirus and generally anything i eat my brain and stomach say na i think i've had enough. Any chance my appetite will come back soon :(
