Hi!
I have previously purchased a heatsink compound (believe it's also known as thermal paste/compound) as listed as this -- goo.gl/WIVUq .

As I have posted on this forum thread no long ago (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18498389), I have since removed the existing compound.

I am now asking this forum the general consensus for which is the preferred thermal compound? I've heard Arctic Cooling is preferred by most, but which? With silver? Without silver? MX-2? MX-4?

Please tell me as I'll make this the next purchase. Thank you!

Just got a 30g of MX-2 Arctic Cooling. That good enough?

some says no silver. what's this for?
some says with silver? what's the pro/con of using it with/out silver?

Thanks!

Your sig is too long.

AS5 can be a issue if you get it under the chip or on surrounding components as its electrically conductive. I personally use MX2 and buy it by the 30 - 65g tubes as it works out cheapest and I go through a lot of it when repairing xboxs.

I would just get MX2 its one of the best for its price.

Yes that 30g MX2 is good enough.
