Thermal Compound

Is the thermal compound that comes with a big typhoon ok to use or should I use the Arctic Silver 5 that I have?

I would remove the thermal compaund and apply as5. I doubt you will see much difference though if you cant be bothered.

I agree, changing from Intel's heatpad to AS5 gave me 10c difference in load temps

No idea about the stuff that comes with the Typhoon however, but if you have AS5 available, you may as well use it!
