Got some of those copper RAM Sinks at the weekend, and have been using them to cool the VRM on my motherboard.

However, on one particular Voltage regulator I just cannot get a sink to 'stick' in place grrrrr.

Not only that, but if it falls off its straight whack on to my brand shiny new X1900 Video Card -

Can anyone recommend anything else for sticking these down to my motherboard with ?

Arctic Silver Thermal Epoxy would do the job if you want something permanent.

Would this be ok to use directly on one of the Voltage Regulator ? Those little thingies that look like a Electro-magnet...

With it being Conductive stuff I'm not so sure :/

Yes, and you can dilute it upto 50% with AS5 to make it less permanent.

That's interesting, didn't know...

Can you really remove it if you want to later on when you 'dilute' it. Anyone did this already?

Thanks in advance

If you follow the instructions then there's no problems removing it.

yeah i have ramsinks on my graphics cards and some BFG ones on my ram instead of those stupid mushkin ramsinks, both use AS5/epoxy mix and stick well, they'll come off with a little tug though
