Thermal Grizzly AM5 contact frames?

Another question, I'm thinking of using the thermal grizzly contact frame on my x670e Hero motherboard with my new 9950x3d and EK Quantum Velocity 2 cpu block. My questions are, will I need the separate Thermal Grizzly backplate and is there a noticeable difference using the frame?

Don't think a contact frame is necessary
For am5 mate
Other than prevent thermal paste overflow/overfill
Doesn't really suffer the way intels mounting does

Not neccesary on AM5 platform, i only use them because they keep thermal paste out of the corners.
