Hi guys.
Is there any cheaper alternative toThermal Grizzly Shield?
In some videos on youtube people are using nail polish.
So can I use any transparent nail polish to protect the capacitors on the gpu die?
thanks

Works all the same tbh, you're only stopping any potential leakage which could cause a short. Only really necessary if you're going full Liquid metal as well.

What do you mean by going full liquid metal?
I'm planing to "repaste" XFX RX6900XT waterblock zero wb.
Temps are reaching 73C when OC to 2750mhz on core.

I've received parcel today.
What is in black syringe? Is that stuff to be used to seal of the capacitors?
Grey syringe is probably thermal paste I assume?

Might just be the image or the tube that its in grey doesn't look like liquid metal to me, looks more like regular paste. All liquid metal I've in the past has look like the T-1000

There is no manual unfortunately.
I've send them a message and they replied:

"hello friend, only black syringe is silicone, other are auxiliary supplies"

So I assume silicone can be used the seal of capacitors ?
Liquid metal is in LT cooling syringe on the bag.
