Hey guys,

So I rebuilt my system earlier and then after cleaning off the TIM realised I never had much paste left so the application is not great. So I was looking at the thermal pads to try, anyone got any experience with these things and I notice a lot say "for socket 2066 etc etc etc", surely it makes no difference what socket you use them on aslong as it fits?

Was looking at this one https://www.overclockers.co.uk/arctic-thermal-pad-145x145x0.5mm-th-01h-ar.html
Or this one (Which I think would be fine for x99? https://www.overclockers.co.uk/thermal-grizzly-carbonaut-thermal-pad-32-32-0.2-mm-th-02h-tg.html

What do you guys think?

Carbonaut Thermal Pad seems to have bad reviews people say it sticks to the cooler and it rips very easy. There is pics online showing rips and it stuck to the cooler.
