I'm just curious, it is the 1st time i actually change the Cpu cooler on my PC.
I'm gonna use a Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 cos i didn't really want to have to remove the motherboard to install a new cooler, and i don't really plan to go on high-end OC either.
It seemed to have good comments on all the forums i checked, and is compatible with LGA 775 socket. I've watched a lot of videos, of wich the ones from homepcbuilder were the most usefull to me.
Any advice is welcome. The cooler comes with pre-applied thermal paste so i won't change this, just had to buy the cleaning pack artic cooling 1+2.
So this is actually my question : once the new cooler is in place, do i have to wait some time before starting the pc again and check the temps ?
