is it ok to use the same thermal paste for gpu as cpu....and how to apply do you put a little in the center or do you cover the gpu eith a thin layer thanks. this is for the power color 5970....not the one in my sig thanks.

Thermal paste for gpu

IC Diamond 7-Carat Thermal Compound i used to spread the paste on the cpu but you can have air trapped this way a grain of rice in the middle for a cpu and about the size of a small pea for gpu,just dont remove the heatsink when you have put the tim on as this will break the bond,done both my 470s that way and shaved a few c off the stock paste.
