Thermal paste on my ThinkPad

I’m not one to go changing thermal paste just for the sake of it but my 2 year old ThinkPad has been running rather toasty lately and was reaching 91C in Aida64.

I opened it up to have a look and found this

Didn’t know Stevie Wonder worked at Lenovo!

Needless to say a fresh application of Kryonaut brought the max temps down to 68C under the same load!

Doesn't surprise me most of the factory fitted stuff looks like that.

Haha really, I’ve never changed a laptops stock paste before, I assumed it would be good enough from the factory!
