Thermal Paste

When you buy an arctic cooler do you need to buy thermal paste as well? It is a new build

It will come with paste pre-applied.

Also, do you get all the cables you need with components like to connect a hard drive and disk drive etc. ?

Yip you will get atleast one IDE cable, one floppy cable and probably several SATA cables with the motherboard.

Though the IDE and Floppy cable with the mobo will be the wide flat ribbon ones .
