Thermal Paste

I borrowed some Thermaltake TG-2 off a mate and it made my idle temps drop a good 5-7c from stock paste.
Would I see the same sort of temp drop if I removed it and purchased some MX3 or AS5? is it worth it?

You might see a couple of degrees or so difference, but I have no experience with that paste itself.
What sort of temos are you looking at anyway?

35-40 idle , 65-70 load @ 1.41 vcore. I just dont like it to hit 70c so trying to get a max temp of ~65c
