MX-2 or MX-3 without a doubt. Great value for money and doesn't need any curing time.

Yeah MX-3 for me too, for reasons above, its also non conductive.

What about the thermal paste with diamond particles ?

MX-3 has slightly better heat transfer than AS5 (only slightly) but unlike AS5 is not conductive.

No, different words with different meanings but ultimately the same effect on the hardware if you spill it. Metal plus electrickery = bad things happen

Arctic MX-3 is definitely better than AS5 but Thermalright Chill Factor II is slightly better than the MX-3.

I've just been testing some thermal paste this week and currently have some MX-4 to try out as well

Out of MX2 and AS5 I much prefer applying the MX2, gone on easily and does the job well

Big time no Brainer MX-3 No curing time non conduction and better heat transfer then AS5 .. not sure why people even buy AS5 or why it's still sold.

There is only 2-3 degrees difference really, so i went for mx-3 for safety, and i'd heard it was easier than others to apply.

IC Diamond? Highly recommended - good 3c cooler than MX2 for me.
