Nice to meet you too. I would have thought calling someone names and asking for a ban for a lighthearted remark (see the smiley in my post?) is more of a bannable offence, but then I wouldn't call for someone to be banned full stop.

FYI, last month I spent over £400 (plus delivery charge) with Overclockers building the new rig in my signature.

USE the 5.5mm pea size method don't spread this TIM and it will work great. I'm the biggest skeptic out there and it works as it says, best cooling TIM and does not separate like some other TIMS do and not as thick as some people say it's more sticky but thats a good thing it holds the coolers to the CPU,GPU and chipset well.

wait, a 5.5mm ball ? surely that would be a huge amount of TIM would it not ?

Not for this compound, its actually the manufacturers recoomended amount.

Need to also let is cure for 10 mins before placing on heatsink with 50 PSI of pressure (their words not mine :P) and this spreads the compound to cover the whole CPU.

Personally i never seen any decrease in temps when i applied mine, so shocked was I that i actually applied a total of 3 times thinking I had made a mistake but ah well at least i didnt see an increase either
