Thermal Paste

I know this must be one of the most asked questions on these forums but I can seem to find a thread with the answer I'm looking for, so hear goes.

I am wanting to re paste my cpu and gpu and wanted to know what is the best thermal paste currently on the market today? I'm not bothered about price just want the best stuff.

No, there hasn't any new that I am aware of.
In fact, I have just re-pasted my CPU. Just got Arctic Cooling MX-2. It's gooood!!

I use mx-2 or artic silver 5 I would not use anything else.

After having a read through that thread. I'm thinking about the Gelid Stuff but would you guys still recommend the arctic or mx2?

I'd now swear by MX-2. But hey, you've only got one CPU so it will have to be either Gelid or the Arctic Cooling MX-2. Can't got wrong with these two.

Gelid GC extreme dropped around 2-3c off AS5 temps for me.
Any of the decent pastes would do a fine job. It really is just splitting hairs

Theres not enough difference between the top pastes to warrant worrying about i use as5 mostly because i always have would i switch to one of the mx's if it happened to be the right price at the time i needed some, yeah probably, when all is said and done if 2-3 degrees temperature difference makes any real difference then whatever you were running probably wasnt stable to begin with

Personally i use MX-2 mainly because its so easy to use ans still quite cheap.
