What's the go to thermal paste these days it's for a 10700k I use mx4 but fancy a change.
Thanks.

The Thermal Grizzly stuff seems to be go to now but I'm still using AS5 and MX4 personally - still hold up well with proper application and long term results proven.

I've gone with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut in the end very good reviews on it,thanks for the help.

Never liked ThermalGrizzly. Have been using Thermalright for like 10 years (several different versions as new ones came along) and never had a problem with any of them. I did some A/B comparsions between origina and newer ones and difference was minor.

Having a good mount with good TIM print is way more important than what TIM is used. There is less than 3c differnce between very best and about 30th in list of 50 or more TIMS. Best TIMs are liquid metal making up 1.8c of the list (very hard to use and problematic as well). That leaves 30 normal TIMs with only 1.3c difference between very best and 30th on list.

Long story short, get a good name brand TIM and be careful to get a good print/seat and you will be fine.

Been using artic silver 5 here as it’s so easy to spread even/thin and get good results but switched over to a 9900k, tried thermal grizzly Kryonaut and Got much better results. Awful to spread even when hot but dropped around 5c which marries up with the results of various reviews.
