THERMAL PASTE

Pretty sure LTT did a video on this and there was basically no difference in temps when applying paste in different ways, and even applying different amounts.

Personally I use liquid metal because colder temps helps keep my PC silent, and I like to live dangerously of course. A tiny blob in the middle and then I smear it into a very thin layer over the IHS using a cotton bud. Liquid metal will always give the best temps but I cannot recommend it unless you are aware of the drawbacks (e.g. electrical conductivity, aluminium corrosion) and really know what you're doing.

For traditional paste I recommend Arctic MX5. IMHO Thermal Grizzly products are overpriced.

just about to get this what paste should i be use how much ? is it still put a pea size blob ?

I use https://www.amazon.com/Thermal-Griz...hermal+Grizzly+Kryonaut&qid=1643393622&sr=8-3, it's the best I've run across in a while, I've used it in several laptops and PCs and In average I've got 10°C droppage in temp. I even recently changed the original thermal past of my xbox and it worked like a charm . I personally use 1.2x of the pea size and so far so good.
