Thermal right silverarrow SBE

Would a pair of corsair SP120 fans work on a thermal right silver-arrow SBE? as the original fans prevent me from closing my side panel on my case.

Also would the temperatures be affected if I was to place a fan at the back of the cooler instead of the front so I can have more clearance for my corsair vengeance ram.

Any help would be appreciated.

the supplied 140mm fans has 120mm fan mounting. My guess is more than likely they will work just like they do on 140mm fan.

Which way round do you have the fans? Can you mount them so that the flat sides are level with the top of the heatsink?

Is it the middle TY-150 (150mm) fan giving you problems? If so, remove it and put the front TY-141 fan in the middle. If the performance of the single fan isn't enough for you, then get two TY-143s and place one in the middle and the other at the back.

It also depends on whether you want performance or less noise. For less noise, the single TY-141 solution shouldn't be much worse than the stock solution. If you want more performances, the TY-143s will be superior to the Corsair fans. Or you could get two TY-147s for the best combination of performance and low noise but these are currently out of stock.
