Evening all, just bought one of these -

It has three thermal sensors. I would like to stick a thermal sensor in my gtx 280, between the cpu and heatsink, and on the motherboard spp or mcp.
So the questions are

1. Where best to stick a thermal sensor in the gtx 280 ?
2. How to place thermal sensor between cpu e8400 and zalman 9700 ?
3.Should i monitor the temp of the spp or mcp on the motherboard (xfx 790i ultra) ?

1. Why would you want to? Everest ultimate or pc wizard will display your GPU temps.
2. You cannot place your sensor "between" the heatsink and the cpu. The best you can do is rest it against the heatsink's side.
3. Everest ultimate also displays spp and mcp temps. Nvidia monitor displays mcp temps as well. But, if you insist on using the probe, i'd stick it against the heatsink.

I want to because i can, i just bought a xfx 790i and the guy chucked in this lcd screen for free, so why not use it !
