I've just upgraded from a rather old i5 2500K to R5 3600 and wanted to take my Thermalright Silver Arrow heat sink. I've searched and searched but for the life of me cannot find anywhere that will send the AM4 bracket for this heatsink.

I know the part i need is: http://www.thermalright.com/product/true-universal-btk-2/

Having contacted Thermalright they no longer ship to the UK (Going to assume Brexit is to thank for that!). On the off chance, does anyone know where there is any stock at all?

Nowhere in the UK has them that I can tell, been trying myself, even contacted shops in Germany who refuse to ship here.

The link you've shared isn't the right bit, it's a type b bracket for am4.

Thermalrights social media rep was very apologetic about it all.

I get the impression that it'll be a few months before they sort out shipping to the uk again

Think its type B for all Silver Arrow heatsinks other than the standard one without any letters after the name. For the basic silver arrow its the BTK you need. At least thats what the Thermalright rep told me. Going to try drill my old mount, lets see how that goes

AHH didn't know the mounting was different between the silver arrows.

Pain that they won't send out or have a place in the UK.

Tried the other shops that sell thermalright and they don't have it either.

As soon as the bracket was announced they should have at least sent stock to thermalright UK resellers

Original Silver Arrow with 4x 8mm heatpipes has thicker base than newer Silver Arrow variants. BTK mount is or thick based coolers and not Silver Arrow SBE, IBE, ITX, etc.
