ThermalRight demos heatsink chassis

What do you do if your cpu socket isn't in line with the heat pipes? or are all sockets in the exact same place on the motherboard?

Edit: Answered my own question http://www.formfactors.org/developer\specs\atx2_2.pdf

"The exact location of the processor is not specified. It is recommended that it be located behind the external I/O connectors and to the right of the seventh expansion slot,"

I wonder how they get around the problem of the processor not definatly being in the same place.

It's hard to be sure from just looking at those pictures but it may well be possible for those heatpipes to slide up and down the case and to also rock from left-to-right, that would mean the CPU could be almost anywhere and the base of the heatsink roof would fit. . .

Edit: the next question would be do you have to disturb the CPU cooling set-up anytime you wanna add a component in the case? i.e open the lid. . .oh whoops there goes the CPU!

^^^ Yeah, nice idea for cooling, but would get very annoying having to turn the pc off everytime you wanted to go inside it...

Looks a bit like air conditioning heat exchangers... which reminds me.. still have one in my room that I managed to get from Toshiba :D
