Thermalright frozen Warframe screen issues

I've been using this cooler for months without issues and decided to update the cooler software yesterday (foolishly it seems)

It was all working fine until today and now I keep getting disconnects every 30 seconds maximum. It's really annoying with the USB disconnection and reconnection noise and that the screen is isn't displaying properly.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both versions of the software with revo and replaced the USB cable ( by running it externally) but it's made no difference.
Can anyone offer any thing else to try before I go down the Rma route?

I've just disconnected the screen and uninstalled the software for now

I didn't know there was an update out, I will have a go updating this afternoon and let you know how I get on.

I only looked a similar cooler on my other PC and the app was slightly different and doesn't ask for me to accept it starting every time I start windows.
