Has anyone got this installed on a 8800GTS or know if it is actually compatible with one. The description from Overclockers and another website say its 8800GTX only but looking at the Thermalright website it says its 8800GTS compatible.
I dont know who to believe.

the ocuk one aint its only the gtx heatsink, I have one on my GTS and I bought it elsewhere which came with the gts hsi heatsink! I do in fairness have a spare HSI heatsink I got sent from thermalright for the GTS however and if you buy the cooler from OCUK uyou need to send your invoice tto their sales team and they can sort out the heatsink for ya!

Alternatively view my trust drop me an email and I could send you the GTS hsi heatsink in a first class envelope :P

Thanks for the offer but I'm not sure now if it will fit in my case after seeing some pics with it installed, it certainly adds some width to card. I'll have to take a proper look inside my case and see if it will fit with either of the fitting methods.
By the way have you got a 92mm fan installed with it and if so do you think there much difference in noise level against the stock cooler??

I used a 92mm xilence fan on mines and as for noise levels its a lot better, but I was running my 8800 stock cooler @ 80% as my room gets rather hot so it made a lot more noise than on its automatic settings! THe temps dropped like crazy on mines however and I suggest its well worth getting if you can provide the room for it

How do you change the fan speed on the stock cooler, I've got a BFG 8800GTS and the fan connector wouldn't fit the connection on my Akasa fan controller.
