Thermalright HR-05 SLI?

will this northbridge cooler fit nforce2 chipsets? the board im looking for it to go on is the abit nf7-s v2. thanks

it should do mate - i had one but it is a very close fit with the graphix card 7800 GTX - thye also work very well - dropped by nb temp by 10c

awsome, gonna get one of these and also a thermalright ultra 120, gonna try and get as much as i can out of this socket A setup.

Did u managed to work out a ghetto fitting for the Ultra-120 on a socket A then Mav?

not ordered the ultra 120 yet, i made the massive mistake of not getting the ultra120 extreme when it was on special offer. im waiting for it to come on special offer again, probably wait till the end of this week, if not on offer ill have to just get the regular ultra 120.
i will deffo keep you guys updated on how things develop.

also if i get the ultra 120 i may not need the hr-05, may just get a zalman or other cheaper passive cooling option, currently the big typhoon is hanging over the northbridge hence why nothing but the stock northbridge cooler will fit. with ultra120 there may not be any overhang.

ordered the thermalright ultra 120, thought i may as well, its got some future proofing to it too since it can be used on socket 775.
did not get the extreme version though, price difference is too much.
