Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade my cooler and have heard great things about the TRUE. Saw the IFX-14 whilst browsing the overclockers site. Have to say it looks damn funky but is it any good? Would I be better off with the TRUE or even a Tuniq tower?

Thabks in advance.

I have one, it's very good keeps my 3.6Ghz E6750 @ 50oC full load.

Only problem i have with it is if you have a fan mounted it restricts access to the first 2 ram slots, this means if you have big heatsinks on your ram like the Dominator series for example, they you won't be able to fit the fan.

However it can be mounted both ways, so there's always a way around.

The backplate wouldn't fit in my case, Thermaltake Shark.

Only downside is the cost, about 2 weeks ago they were avaliable on OCuK for around £35 including VAT, they've now gone up.

If you do some searching you can pick one up for £10 cheaper than the OCuK price. ;)

i had one, not good on quad core (swapped it for a thermalright)
not bad on e6600
looks better than it performs in my view
that was with 2X120mm fans on it
