What is the difference between the various versions, I am right in saying that all fir the 1150 socket aren't I?

I'm pretty sure they have fittings for all sockets and the differences between them are the fans.

What Goose said. Only the fans are different. All cool the same up to 1100/1300rpm. I know. I have the SA SB-E Extreme and have ran it with both PH-F140HP, TY-140, TY-143 & TY-145 fans. All perform and sound about the same.
