I'm trying to pick the fans for my new build, which will be watercooled via 2x360 rads & I've come across both these as what look to be decent options at a reasonable price (£20+ per fan is just ridiculous IMO).

Some reviews I've seen say the Arctic is better, some the Thermalright, so I'm stuck for choice.
I like how the Arctic 0%PWM actually turns them off, as I'd like to run my PC as close to passive as possible when general browsing etc, but pretty much any fan would be practically silent @minimum RPM anyway.

The Arctic is rated at better static pressure, but the review at Hardware Canucks, taking nosie equalised performance on an AIO puts the Thermalrights as performing better.

If it makes a difference, I was considering push/pull on both radiators, so I can run all fans with as little noise as possible, whilst maintaining airflow. This makes the Thermalrights at less than 1/2 the price very atractive, if I'm buying 12 fans!

Does anyone have any experience with either (or even better, both) of these fans (especially on radiators) that can give their opinions?

I have the Thermalrights as they are the fans that come with the Peerless Assassin 120SE ARGB. They are quiet while still shifting a decent amount of air and look great. I was so impressed with them I bought a additional three pack for just under £15. Now they are even cheaper with a three pack costing just £13.39!!

I had Arctic P14 fans on a pair of radiators in push/pull and only ran them at a more or less silent 700rpm. Some complain of a "ticking" noise from these but I never had any of that.

Yea, getting a 3 pack for less than £15 is the main thing that I like about it, seems like a steal when they seem to be decent.

I think unless anyone comes in to say they've tried them both on a radiator & the Arctics were far superior, I'm just going to get a bunch of the Thermalrights & keep them at low RPM.
