Hi.

I have a Thermalright TRUE 120 Black that i have just installed on my new board.
However, the bracket makes it so that i can only install it the way that i have in the picture. This means that i can not use DIMM slot 1 as the heatsink and RAM will not fit in together.

Is there anyway i can install it vertically instead of horizontally or do i need to buy a different cooler?

Thanks

Looks as if you will need to buy a different cooler, not many coolers equivalent to the TRUE will allow functionality of the 1st DIMM slot though (with your RAM).

DId you try and put the ram in before the cooler? I have the same ram and cooler and had to put the ram in first and it just sat under the cooler with mm's to spare

I did try but it was touching so i didn't want to screw it down. I just moved the RAM into the other slots.

However, apparantly the Rev.2 AM3 bracket solves this problem and allows you to mount the cooler the right way around, but it seems that nowhere in the UK sells them.

Amazon US has them but it won't let me buy from there.

Does anyone know where i can get one of these from please?
