Thermalright TRUE mobo/mounting question

I am just about to upgrade to sandybridge

I have a thermalright true black at the minute & i would like to use it on a 1155 mobo as its a good cooler,is this possible ?

Are the mounting holes for the cpu cooler on 1155 mobos the same spacing as 1366 mobos ?

The 1155 spacing is the same as 1156, so if you dont have the bracket youll need to buy one.

And it should fit fine depending on your Mainboard.

Yes you can use it, you will need the 1156 mounting kit though, which you can purchase, but not from OcUK...
