Will this clip on or will I need to take my mobo out of my pc to remove the heatsink holder? My socket is 939 mobo is in sig.

I can't be bothered removing the whole mobo again.

You need to remove the plastic bit thats mounted around the socket and fit the one they supply... Wont work without it.

Sorry.

You do need to remove the standard mount but it just screws into original backplate so i didnt need to remove board on asus premium or dfi expert. You should be able to the same on your board

I thought the same, but when I unscrewed mine it slipped slightly... Thus necessitating board removal :(

Cheers,

I had XP120 + Panaflo 120mm fan on my old Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe mobo.
But when I changed to the A8N32 I was not able to fit the XP120 to it - as the Heatsink was touching the NB/SB Heatpipe Sink above the CPU.

Replaced it with a Scythe Ninja :)
