thermaltake armor and 5770 - won't fit

the little plastic clamp thingys won't close down to clamp it in place. can they be removed and the card screwed in as normal?

I have the same case, sounds like the mobo and card slots arent lined up properly. If the screw slot is lined up you can just screw it in.

i can see the screw hole but the clampy bits are in the way

The plastic clamp assembly is held on by few screws which go through the back of the case first, just unscrew these and the whole clamp assembly will come out.
