ThermalTake Armor Water Cooling...

right, my first post, i have a thermaltake armor case, just wanted to know if there is anyway to mount a water cooling rad anywhere in the case. if not what case would you case should i get. i have around £100 for a new case if i need one!

personally id get a mesh grill and put it all the way down the front of the case were the bays are then fix a rad onto there if possible, a bit like the new kandalf lcs, or could could mount it same as what i said but on the inside of the mesh grill, ether way thats my personal opinion on what you should do.

its actually what im going to do when i get a liquid cooling when i get my new conroe rig

There is plenty of room on the back 120mm fan to mount a single 120mm rad.

Other places include if you can do some modding would be the bottom where there is plenty of room for a dual and up the front.

yeah i was think of mounting it in the front and moving the hdd up next to the psu. do you know if you can buy the rad mount that it use in the thermaltake one, then i could replace it with a new 2x12cm rad!

If you are talking about the Thermaltake LCS than no as it is a new (ugly) door.

I'm not overly sure how you would mount it in the front. My first though was some L brackets and maybe some spacers and screw it into the drive cage? I would have to order the rad and strip the case apart to decide what is best. What do others do? Might be worth asking at xtremesystems to see what they do.

yeah i was going to mount in the drive bay area with some spacers. should work, might need the make some home in the sides of the rad for the screws, or might be that if there are screws holes on both sides, then i might be able to make a l barket from the drive to them. have to have a look.

I got the armour with the 25cm fan and i have a medium sized rad (one that fits 2 x 120mm fans) mounted in the front, i moved the tray thing to the bottom and my dvdrw to the top and it fits in between works pretty well i just modded a radiator mount i found on some WC shop, ive also got a single rad mounded on the back of the case where the single 120mm fan goes.
