We, however, ran into an issue with the DFI Ultra-D motherboard in which the DFI backplate was non-standard. The mounting posts were shorter than a standard backplate. With the posts that come through the motherboard being too short the screws would not reach the location that they were to screw into. I had to remove the motherboard from the case and replace the DFI backplate with a standard one I had lying around. Once this was installed the installation was a breeze, this is something that users of the DFI NF4 Ultra series should be aware of ahead of time – actually this is a fault of DFI as they should not be using a non-standard backplate.
