has anyone overclocked with the thermalright si-120 (AMD)

Yes, check my sig for clocks.

33C idle 42C loaded.

That’s with a VF900 cooled 1900XTX @ 680/800 heating up my case/house and neighborhood!

nice man, what fans that? does it come with SI-120?
Like i've said 3 times before, it's the Panaflo M1A :o

And no, the SI-120 doesn't come with any fans mate, the heatsink i'm using is the XP-120.

what temps are you getting with you OCed 3700
I've got quite a poor clocker AFAIK, so at the moment i'm sat at 2.75ghz with 1.5v going through it. Idling at the moment at this (Ignore the voltage reading, it is actually 1.5v going through it):

oh right sorry yea looks good may invest in that fan aswell if you recon its good and quiet. how many case fans you got going there?
I've got one 120mm SilverStone FM121 in the front of the case sucking air in and one 120mm Coolermaster LED in the back of the case sucking air out :)

class i really want to upgrade to a 120mm fan cause my case just has room for 2 80mm fans at front 2 80mm fans at back and 1 80mm on top
I'm using a Coolermaster Centurion 532 case, i had a crappy case before this which could take 4 80mm fans, the noise was unbearable as was the poor CFM :o

yea well it will do for now i will probably get a better one nearer to the summer or something.

i have to say i think im doing preet good with this case, has not case fans and only 80mm cpu fan and its still o/ced so can't wait to get 2 80mm fans and 120mm fan on heatsink

I've just got a Panaflo M1A fan this morning, and from what i've used so far this thing is very very quiet for the amount of air that it pushes. It's double width so it pushes more air with less speed i guess, but it's an excellent fan :)

Glad it arrived safely. ;)

I had the same problem with my SI-120 i sorted this by buying a 120mm fan rubber gasket and fitted this to fan with double sided tape & removed the 2 damping strips from the heatsink.Thermalright recomend using the L1A fan for the XP120 & SI-120 so by using your fan controller u have more less made it into the L1A low speed fan.
