Hi evreyone, putting together a rig for a relative who wants above mobo. But they want a Rampage 5 10th edition. all i can find after exhaustive searching, it is ATX, but will it take the rampage? unable to find any answers. has anyone here heard of anyone doing thus, thanks in advance

It looks like it would fit, but that the extra width of the Rampage V 10 would cover the cable pass-throughs to the extent where you couldn't get cables through those, or at the very least it would be EXTREMELY tight to do so. That's not to say you couldn't bring them through from further along to the right though... it looks like you could do that. The height of the motherboard is the same as an ATX one, it's just about an inch wider.

I was also looking at this, I got the the opinion that my motherboard would cover the holes. I have the Gigabyte Z170X Gaming G1 which is extended like the rampage.

I am considering modifying the case to extend the holes then add a plastic panel to tidy up the motherboard tray and the mod.
