But metal doesn't have tendency to "decay" when used/all by itself after time.
Especially that front panel system doesn't look lasting with all those plastic parts and alignment pins/tabs.

PSU's intake fan is restricted if it points downward and that useless compartmentalization plate does same when it's upwards.
HDD cage causes naturally some impedance all by itself but if you add many HDDs that impedance becomes huge because of very dense spacing:

I liked the cut out of the MB tray so you could get at the cooler backplate if needed.
That hole might be too small for changing CPU HSF backplate with every motherboard because CPU placement differs. Some have nearly pushed socket over the top edge while in other there might be memory slots above CPU socket.
And might be sized too small for some sockets. (read that PureOC page)
