Has anyone ever ran this combo before? Just wanted to know if the fins of the cooler would clear that type of RAM before I went ahead.

Looks ok from the dimensions! Depends on the motherboard and how far away the DIMMS are from the CPU socket really!

I was sort of thinking about if the RAM was sitting under the fins. The cooler is designed to actually sit over some of the RAM banks, but obviously there would be a height restriction on the RAM in that case.
Just wondering if anyone has run this particular setup before I give it a go.

As I said, each motherboard can be different from the other. Some boards have DIMMS closer to the CPU socket than others! But usually you should be ok!
