Do you mean you can't fit the external case or just the dvd writer in the second rung down..
If it's just the DVD writer what is in the way to stop it from fitting in ??

right basicly i have a dvd-rom in the top slot

and i wanted a dvd-rw in the second, it wouldn't fit

im gonna have a play with it

think i may have the purple bits on the wrong holes

can anyone advise if they have this case working with 3 - 4 dvd-roms? thanks

There are little notches which stop it from sliding in easily. Give it some force and it should go right in. At least that was the case for me.

Don't worry about it, it will go.

If you have drives screwed into cages in general and they dont go to well, loosen the drive above and below and it should make it easier to fit in.

Not entirely relevant but a noteworthy point for anyone searching. :p
