Has anybody got a Thermaltake Xpressar case? They say it is 20ºC cooler than liquid cooling. I am wondering if this would be the best case to get for my new build in terms of overclocking.
Hmm, I wouldnt trust that statement '20c cooler' thermaltake suck at cooling. What are you going to be overclocking? CPU/GFX ? Also what CPU are you going for?
Performs well at idle, but isn't much better than the top air coolers at load (which is where it matters ) when running at 100%. It is also noisy and seems to use a lot of power, and is ridiculously expensive. At idle, you run the risk of condensation on the CPU, which isn't good.
If you're going to spend that kind of money, I'd consider a proper watercooling setup.
