Hi there

I watchted this video and the guy said he is using Thermaltakes yellow.

I have no idea which one, and why there are SO MANY VERSIONS!!!!!!

I'm of course looking for a nice bright yellow thats non-see through.

The video i saw was

My question is which one do i go for?!?!?!?!?!

See my build in my signature

Personally I won't use anything with that brand name. I stopped using them over 20 years ago and see peeps having problems with them still.

Buy once, buy mayhems :D

That being said I am using older yellow EK Ekoolant which was made by mayhems. But I have a bottle of pastel yellow ready for my next upgrade.

Several times I have seen YouTubers be sent new solid coolants from various companies to put in their builds and nearly every time there is a follow up video in a month or two where the coolant has gone a funny colour and started to clog.

If there is a watercooling company that could make a solid coolant that works as well as mayhems then EK would be it. But mayhems exists, and has been around for long enough for people to do extended real world 'tests' ie using it for years in their systems.

only one i could find with a 4-5 month update was https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlJtaPGxv9Q

he said its still holding up......?!

Hi Tom,

Did you go with any of the Pastal yellows in the end (and if so which did you go with, what was the outcome)?

I have 3L of Mayhems Pastal Yellow in my garage unopened (ready for my new build) although I have had it on the shelf for about 2 years and you cant buy it anymore so I was thinking of replacing with TT P1000. How did you get on?
