Thermochill radiators

Could always opt for feser rads, they are arguably better performing in the low rpm, low restriction/high flow range than the thermochills.

yes, but Fesers are so much more expensive. Difference can be even £20, when performance is pretty the same...

Also worth looking at the new RX series of XSPC rads. Not cheap but good performers.

yes, I don't know what happened with radaitors these days - prices jumped up quite a bit! XSPC was always very cheap, now these rads are almost same as Swiftech and those new ones are same as PA and Fesers.. too bad, they could sell a lot fo those if kept prices low..

Did you see any reviews of new series?

you MUST be able to find what you need 2nd hand.

And I can't see why they'd revise it... got my trusty 120.3 running my gtx280, q6600 and chipsets, fans almost off and idling at about 30... I love this rad :)

I know, I already bought PA120.3 form Paul_D - I just asked cause noticed sth is going on with availability of these rads...

If you keep looking then hopefully you'll find them. When I was getting my rad in the past couple of weeks I saw 2 places with PA120.3's in stock. This was just before the new orders of the PA120.2 shipped out and before many places had the .3 down for a resupply date.

Edit: Infact...just had a quick look and I an still see that somewhere here has them in stock. ;)

As for the RX series rads...Have a look here for one of the few reviews so far. It seems to do quite well.

I opted for the RX360 over the PA120.3 although that was just to save a load of modding. It is performing well so far although I wouldn't say anything conclusive unless I had something to compare it directly against. All I can say is that I'm happy with it.

Thermochill are essentially handmade in Yorkshire by a very small team. Over Christmas I believe that they all went down with the same bug simultaneously and that halted production for at least a couple of weeks, maybe longer. As a result all the PA radiators are in very short supply.

As far as I know there are no plans to bring out a new revision (why would they, as the Feser's etc. are only just catching up now:D)

What WJA96 said, the main man that makes them has been quite ill over christmas so production is severely halted whilst he gets back to good health.

you know, the only sensible revision, and it would be a very very sensible one, would be G1/4 thread rather 3/8BSP or whatever it is.. its a PITA considering I have a bag full of various types of G1/4 barbs but only just enough 3/8BSPs to go round, started buying adapters now but again I only have just enough.

Yes, but remember - they're British! And that means the prices should actually go down against the competition which are made in dollar currency countries and sold in Euro. Of course, if the market tightens because there aren't any then the prices will probably go up anyway:(

I heard that the guy had had a mild heart attack but is on the mend apparently.
