Anyone got one/used them?

What they like (preferably the V3)? Am thinking of having one as a cheap system pared with a e2140 for net usage.

They quiet? I can't find anywhere that says how many fans/allocations it has. :o

Cheers. :)

I have a V3-P5G965 with a Q6600. It's quiet until the CPU fan kicks into overdrive. I've replace the retail HSF with an Artic Freezer 7. The retail fan was as quiet as the AF7 at low speed , but noisier under load.

The only fan in the V3 is in the PSU and there is a ducting (removed for AF7) from the side panel to the CPU. There are points to mount 80mm (or larger 92mm?) fans on the front and back of the case.

Just what I wanted to hear mate. That's the version I'm tempted by.

Much appreciated! :D

You still got the standard 250w PSU then? It must have some strain with the q6600!

So it can take atx PSU's then? Even better! :D

It will take an ATX PSU, but because the case lacks depth, cables coming out of the PSU might interfere with cables from the back of any optical drive.

A non-modular PSU would be better as it's the modular plugs and sockets on my Hiper that cause the obstructions.

Hi Bought the AMD version of this last week and it seems really good so far. It doesnt come with any case fans but mine runs cool enough anyway and the system is extremly quite and the case looks pretty good with the black optical drives in. Gonna put a Silent GPU in it next month and then I will have the ultimate Budget Silent Gaming system!!
