Been bored lately and just browsing the net.

I keep coming across some maths questions posted on Facebook. They ask you to solve the equation by only moving one pen.

I seen a few of them and the answer is so simple, yet I haven't seen anyone answer it correctly.

Yeah, they are almost certainly designed and worded in a way to have ambiguity and to trip people up, depending on the level of maths knowledge they have, just so they can be called "Mr Wrong"!!

All you need to do it change the equal to not equal.
I was looking at the amount of comments and didn't see anything correct
Just a boring Friday.

They're just to drive interaction, not to be an interesting puzzle.

Either they create a fake challenge, saying that only 10% of people can correctly calculate 1+2=3 and then watch as the comments flood with people pointing out that they're really smart for knowing the answer is 3, or they create an ambiguous puzzle so that people will argue for days in the comments about who is correct.

IMO the smart move is to skip it... or Facebook entirely... but that's another conversation.

Can you give us a screenshot of the problem question?
Then we can discuss it here and steal some of their engagment farming :D
